Delivery
Kosmo is an online service. Credits and plans are added to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed, usually within a minute. Nothing is shipped. If credits have not appeared within an hour of a successful payment, email legal@askkosmo.com with your payment reference.
Cancelling a plan
You can cancel a plan at any time in the app: Account settings, Cancel plan. Cancelling stops all future charges straight away. If you cannot sign in, email legal@askkosmo.com from your account email and we will cancel it for you within one working day.
After you cancel, your plan stays active, with its credits, until the end of the period you have paid for, and it does not renew.
Refunds
- Failed compiles are never charged. If a compile fails because of a problem on our side, the credit is not used or is returned automatically.
- Charged in error. If you were charged twice, charged after cancelling in time, or charged for credits you did not receive, we refund you in full. Email us within 30 days of the charge.
- Plans. Apart from the cases above and your rights below, we do not refund the unused part of a billing period.
- Credit packs and top-ups. Apart from the cases above and your rights below, packs are not refundable once any of their credits have been used. An unused pack can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of buying it.
If you live in the EU or the UK
As a consumer you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Kosmo starts providing credits and plans immediately at your request, so:
- if you have not used any of the credits you bought, you get a full refund;
- if you have used some, you get a refund minus the value of what you used, worked out in proportion to the credits used (for example, if you used 10 of a plan's 40 credits, you are refunded three quarters of the price).
To withdraw, email legal@askkosmo.com within 14 days of the purchase with the words "I withdraw", or use the model withdrawal form required by law. This right is in addition to everything else in this policy.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method. We process them within 3 working days of approving them, and your bank or card provider usually shows them within 5 to 10 working days. For purchases through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon Squeezy issues the refund as the seller of record.
