What's new in Kosmo

Our biggest update since launch. Kosmo now asks what an expert would ask, then writes the prompt an expert would write, for the exact tool you use.

Kosmo 1.2·October 2026

1Prompts written like a practitioner

  • The craft of your field, built in

Every compile now carries the standards, checks and decisions a specialist in your field would include, whether that is a hiring process, a legal review, a data model or a cold email.

  • Your words stay yours

Details you give, and sentences you paste, are carried into the prompt as you wrote them. Kosmo shapes how the tool works; it does not rewrite what you said.

  • No invented facts

Where a prompt needs a figure, a name or a document you have not given, it asks the tool to request it, or marks a clear placeholder, instead of making something up.

  • A check-your-work step

For larger tasks the prompt tells the tool to plan, do the work, then check the result against what you asked for. Coding agents get a check they can run themselves, such as tests or a build.

  • Confidential material stays put

Prompts tell the tool never to search for, or silently upload, material you mark as confidential.

2Better questions, and fewer of them

  • Up to three questions, only when they matter

Kosmo asks when something important is open and skips the questions when it already has enough. Every question can be answered in a few words.

  • Tap to answer

Questions come with answer options you can tap, or you can type your own.

  • A recommended direction

When a task could go several ways, Kosmo recommends one and lets you choose, before it writes anything.

  • It never stalls

If you do not have something to hand, like your CV or last quarter's numbers, Kosmo still writes the prompt and has the tool ask you for it at the right moment.

3Knows the tool you use

  • Verified tool profiles

Claude, Claude Code, Claude Code Desktop, ChatGPT, ChatGPT Codex, Gemini, Antigravity (IDE, CLI, SDK and 2.0), Cursor, Lovable, v0, Emergent, Perplexity and Midjourney each have their own profile, checked against the tool's official documentation.

  • Uses the tool's own features

Prompts make use of what each tool can actually do, such as project rules files, plan mode and subagents, instead of working around them.

  • A usage note with every prompt

Each prompt ends with a short note on which model or mode to pick, and where to save it so the tool keeps following it.

4Research you can check

  • Current sources, cited

When a task depends on current facts, the prompt tells the tool to search, prefer primary sources, cite each fact with its date, and say plainly when it finds nothing credible.

  • Live answers in chat

Ask Kosmo a question about something current, such as the latest model of a tool, and it looks it up before answering.

5Images and designs

  • Prompts for Midjourney and image tools

Image requests are treated as image work, with prompts written for the tool you name.

  • Posters, menus and cards with your words

For designs built around text, the words on the design are yours, and the prompt sets the layout around them.

  • Sets that do not repeat

When you ask for a set of images, each one gets its own scene.

6Change a prompt without starting over

  • Update your prompt

Ask for a change and Kosmo edits the latest prompt in place, showing what changed, instead of rebuilding it from scratch.

  • Change tool

Switch a finished prompt to another tool from the badge beside it, without answering the questions again.

  • Start fresh

Begin a new prompt in the same conversation when the task changes.

  • See Kosmo's decisions

The choices Kosmo made for you are listed under the prompt in plain language, folded away until you want them.

7Chat, Vent Mode and your library

  • Job templates by profession

Start from a template for your line of work, grouped by profession, instead of a blank box.

  • Vent Mode, as a real conversation

Vent Mode now talks back and knows what you are working on in the main chat, without touching it. Nothing is saved unless you save it.

  • From Vent to main chat

Turn a Vent conversation into a ready-to-send message in your main chat box.

  • Organise your conversations

Rename a conversation, and clear several at once.

8Plans, payments and your account

  • New plans and prices

Pro and Max have new prices in rupees and dollars, every account starts with free compiles, and daily chat limits are shown on the Pricing page.

  • A clearer checkout

You see a summary of what you are buying before you pay, and international payments open on the Kosmo page instead of sending you elsewhere.

  • Pay first, sign up after

You can buy without an account and claim the purchase when you sign in.

  • Delete your account, with 30 days to change your mind

Deleting your account schedules it. Sign back in within 30 days to restore everything; after that your content is permanently deleted.

  • Clear terms

New Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, written in plain language with a short version at the top, and a one-time confirmation that you are 18 or older.
